Before New Way Properties, Brent Edgerton spent over 11 years in Sales and Sales Management with most of his career spent in national and international sales for the textile industry, achieving high results in a down-trodden industry.
Edgerton co-founded New Way Properties, Inc. in December 2004 as its President and Broker-In-Charge. The concept for the firm was one born in the late 90's out of his frustration with the current landscape of Real Estate Sales and Marketing. As a real estate developer and investor, Brent became disillusioned with the lack of professionalism and overall expertise shown to him, his partners, and investors and decided that there had to be a better way. That way is to treat every transaction with the utmost care and diligence as if the property being bought or sold were owned by the agent themselves, whether it be a $60,000 first home or a multi-million dollar development. His goal is for every New Way associate to have complete buy-in to this principle, and therefore, the firm structures its recruiting and training practices around it...it is prevalent in all that we do.
Brent holds a BA degree, Business Economics from Wofford College (1992) and a MBA from Wake Forest University (2002). Brent is married with three children. He graduated Leadership Greenville, Class 33 May 2007.
